This is permanent: deletion removes the account rather than freezing it. Your progress and account-linked Lara access cannot be restored afterwards.
Choose either route.
Delete inside SPARC
This is fastest because you are already signed in and can confirm the account directly.
- Open Settings in SPARC.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read the warning and type DELETE in capital letters.
- Confirm permanent deletion.
Request it without the app
Email from the address connected to your SPARC account. You do not need to reinstall the app. We may ask for a reasonable ownership check before deleting anything.
Request account deletionIf you cannot use the account email, explain why. Do not send a password or one-time code.
For an under-18 account, the student can use the restricted in-app deletion route. A guardian may also ask support to help with deletion or exercise the student's data rights. We verify the request without asking for a password, raw approval token or one-time sign-in code.
What deletion is designed to remove
- your SPARC sign-in identity and profile;
- subjects, goals, notification token and current entitlement records;
- server-held answers, sessions, mock records, progress and readiness records;
- account-linked Lara sessions, messages and generated explanations; and
- live support tickets and messages linked to the account.
Your active Lara Assist or Tutor access ends with the deleted account. These products do not renew automatically, so there is no recurring Paystack subscription to cancel.
What may remain for a limited reason
A local copy already stored on your phone may remain until you clear SPARC’s app storage or uninstall the app. Protected backups may take time to cycle out.
Paystack or SPARC may retain a narrowly separated transaction, fraud-prevention, security or legal record where required for payment reconciliation, accounting, a legal claim or another lawful duty. It is not kept as an active learning profile and is not used to keep the account alive.
Deleting the app is different: uninstalling removes the device copy but does not delete your online SPARC account. Use one of the two routes above for account deletion.
What happens after an email request
- Support checks that the request identifies a SPARC account.
- We verify ownership without asking for your password or one-time code.
- Once verified, we complete the request without undue delay and within the period required by law.
- We confirm completion or explain any narrow record that must legally remain.
Read the Privacy Policy for more about retention and your data rights.
